Keratoconus Symptoms Diagnosis and Treatment in Delhi India

Keratoconus: Symptoms, Diagnosis & Treatment in Delhi India by Dr. Ikeda Lal

Keratoconus: Symptoms, Diagnosis & Treatment in Delhi India by Dr. Ikeda Lal In this Video, our cornea specialist, Dr. Ikeda Lal talks about keratoconus. Keratoconus means ‘conical cornea. In this condition, our cornea ( काली पुतली ), becomes thin and steep (cone like). This problem affects young people making their vision blurry. They often see doubling of images, ghost images, and glare and experience a frequent change of glasses. LASIK laser surgery should not be performed for these patients, therefore they are always screened before LASIK to diagnose this early. Early diagnosis and management by a cornea specialist are essential to manage these patients as this can be a progressive problem.

What is RIL Surgery? RIL Surgery By Dr. Ikeda Lal | Patient Review After Surgery

What is RIL Surgery? RIL Surgery By Dr. Ikeda Lal | Patient Review After Surgery | Delhi Eye Centre Miss Kajal came to us for freedom from spectacles. Her spectacle power was -8.50 DS/ -4.00 dc X10 in the right eye and -9.00 DS/ -4.00 DC x170 in the left eye. Dr. Ikeda Lal explained that LASIK surgery is not possible for her due to a high number. She was advised to undergo ICL (STAAR) surgery. She comes from a humble background and could not afford this imported phakic lens procedure. So, she underwent Refractive Implantable Lens (RIL) procedure. This is a phakic lens made by Appaswamt Associates, India. Here, we would like to share our first experience with this phakic lens. After the surgery, her vision is 6/6, and now she is very happy. Let’s see what she has said about her experience with us. #RifrectiveImplantedLens #RILSurgery #RefractiveSurgery #SpactaclesRemoval #SpecsRemoval #DrIkedaLal #RILLens #Delhieyecentre #ICL #PhakicLens #Highmyopia #ToricICL
